Where the Boys Are

Since Boys will be boys, they have their own quarters. We've added 2
barns since moving to Califon. There are now 3 barns with 5 runs and an exercise wheel in each run. There is great competition
for the use of these wheels by females as well as males.
This is the original cat cottage, that we had moved from Morristown to Califon and which the cats seem to prefer over the newer barns. I think it smells right (despite my efforts).
The inside cages sit on platforms and have access to the
outside runs. There are lockable cat flaps between the inside cages to double the size of a cage. This
is the third barn, set on a different part of the property. We can watch the cats on their wheels from the kitchen and
they can see us as well. At the moment Starry and Cordon Bleu occupy the
far section, while Henri and Olivia are closest to the house. Photos by Bobbie Damiano
