Mr. Black
Joe/Molly ate outdoors in good weather and preferred their food to be served beside the grass garden. This cat, abandoned by a neighbor who was going through hard times, began availing himself of Joe/Mollie's food which really wasn't working for them. It was clear he wasn't going anywhere so he has joined the family, now neutered and utd on shots. He likes me to pet him and has mastered the "Flop and Roll." Welcome, Mr. Black
Update. Now that Joe/Molly have passed over the Rainbow Bridge Mr. Black has the area to himself. That's his summer abode in the top right photo. And he has access to Moonshadow's barn. Moonie's not crazy about the arrangement but she tolerates him.
Well, it didn't last for Mr. Black. Lidda Boy showed up last summer and someone was going to find a home for him but it never happened. He is such a sweetheart--very timid--and he refuses to come inside the house. He lives on the deck and used the heated outdoor dog house last winter. Ahh but he lets me pet him and Mr. Black tolerates him. Lucky Lidda Boy. Lucky me.
